    Mercury in Vaccines

Facts about Vaccines that contain Mercury

Mercury, as the bulk people know, is an element that is inherently poisonous to the human body. In it's purest form, it causes massive damage, especially to nerve cells. The effects of mercury were so bad that NATO banned a certain type of munitions (mercury-filled bullets), because of the inhumane suffering even light wounds from such rounds caused. The effects of normal industrial-level mercury poisoning are also well documented.

However, a recent debate arose in medical communities when it was found out that certain average vaccines used for a lot years now actually contain trace amounts of mercury. Here are answers to some average questions asked by people regarding this topic.

    Do Vaccines Contain Mercury?

Yes, some vaccines contain diluted forms of mercury like methyl mercury and ethyl mercury. These are both organic forms of mercury dissimilar from the metallic mercury used for industrial purposes. Thimerosal is a form of ethyl mercury that is the subject of much discussion because it springs up naturally in certain forms of food that actually cause mild nervous and brain illnesses if taken in large quantities. The presence of thimerosal is cosidered by some to be a cause of autism in children due to this neurological poison factor.

How Does Mercury from Vaccines Affect Infants?

It doesn't. Despite the fear of some parents and members of the medical community that thimerosal and other organic forms of mercury influence a child's growth, especially brain development, studies were conducted on infants who received the vaccines containing these elements. In each and every case, the infant's body absorbed the bulk of the vaccine but simply processed the mercury elements and flushed them out naturally within two weeks. No proof of any damaging effects were noticed after the mercury had sprint its course in any of the test subjects.

Are there any Harmful Effects from Vaccines with Mercury?

No. The amount of ethyl and methyl mercury in the vaccines is negligible, even compared to the body mass of a child. The mercury compounds in each vaccine dose compose less than 2% of the overall mixture. The amount of organic mercury needed to actually cause any significant amount of undermine to a human body is much greater; the mercury would have to be pure, or at the very least would have to account for about 25% of the overall vaccine to be significantly harmful. The negligible amounts of mercury in current vaccines are easily within the ability of the body's immune system to handle.

Autism Caused by Mercury-Based Vaccines: Fact or Myth?

Myth. Studies in various European countries were conducted on separate batches of infants who received vaccines with mercury and others who did not. In the bulk countries, the infants demonstrated no differences between both batches. In an ironic twist, a associated study in Denmark actually showed an increase in the autism cases for children in the country right after they discontinued the use of mercury-containing vaccines. The blow to the Autism myth was further dealt when some groups conducted a survey for autism cases internationally and compared them to the records of vaccines received by those children. In the United States, cases of autism actually dropped in the mid 1990s right AFTER an increase in the number of mercury-containing vaccines was introduced to the country. This actually leads to a counter argument that mercury-containing vaccines may actually prevent autism. However, there is not ample solid proof at this point in time to back up this hypothesis.

A Study of Mercury-Based Vaccines on Cell Cultures

The studies of ethyl and methyl mercury effects were also taken to labs. Cultured cell batches were laid bare to pure organic mercury to see the effects on these cell clusters. The cultured cells were based on human nerve cells, and were laid bare not only to organic mercury, but also to other known toxic elements like copper and lead. In each case, including mercury's, the cell's growth was adversely affected by exposure to the known toxic elements. However, given the relatively low percentages of methyl and ethyl mercury contained in vaccines, it remains widely regarded that the amounts in the bulk modern vaccines are inadequate to cause nerve and brain damage. The major reason supporting this fact is that some food, like certain forms of fish, contains just as much naturally-occurring methyl mercury as the vaccines do, yet no one has ever died or suffered nerve undermine from consuming them.
