There were several stated goals of health care reform when the legislation began.
Uninsured should have affordable health care – with the current legislation it is estimated that it will leave about 10 million uninsured.
Is this bill put together just to be able to say that something passed without any real accomplishment?
Affordable health care – the current legislation would raise premiums immediately even though no benefits would be available under the bill for at least 3 years.
The only good thing about it is that it will end many democrats political careers
How can anybody say when nobody knows what is in there
This health care bill will not solve problems ..it will create more because if it passes future politicians will add on the the current bill in order to make short term gains to their careers. If this legislation was so great, why is it being kept under lock and key and why are their so many secretive Free Masonic style meetings about it.
IF YOU LIKE HIGHER TAXES, LOWER QUALITY HEALTH CARE, LONG WAITS FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT AND RATIONING YOU WILL LOVE THIS BILL
There are no benefits to the health care bill. Even the National Nurse Association frowns on it. It is too costly for the tax payer when we are losing money daily. Government needs to be downsizing and not getting bigger. Government needs a reform and a complete restoration, but not bigger. Our government needs to operate more efficiently. We certainly are not getting our money’s worth. Health care from the insurance company on down needs to be held accountable by our government.
We need a plan to get people off of welfare and off of the welfare mentality. Having babies and planning for the government to pay the bill for the baby seems to be the plan for our young unwed mothers and our fatherless families. The fathers are irresponsible and lazy.
People on welfare with serious diseases or crippled or blind, we must take care of, but unwed mothers need to be dealt with. Hollywood needs to curb some of their bad behavior and maybe our young people would follow the lead. Instead of pushing premarital sex down their throats, why not explain the consequences of such bad behavior.
No one seems to correct or discipline anyone. This is an undisciplined society. This society is a bunch of pleasure seekers with no thought of anyone else but themselves.
The Health Care bill before the Senate will not help anything. It will make things worse and even the Senate and the House know this, they just want to pass a stupid bill. It takes a great deal of money to help “health care” in this nation and this nation does not have that kind of money. Or this nation is not willing to forgo other projects to take care of the health of its citizens. Washington has many pet projects that are not only ridiculous, but wasteful.
Government needs to put the responsibility back on the states and states like California will not be so stupid with their money. Such as “save a frog, kill a kid.” I made this up but California saves everything but their state. Their priorities are backwards. We abort our children and save our frogs, owls, bears, etc.
1. 30 million more people will be covered
2. Insurance companies can not deny you any more if you get sick
3. Stops high profits
4. You have a choice on what doctor you will go to and what hospital
5. Medicare and Medicate will be expanded.
6. It will save 100 billion dollar to the debt

1. No public option
2. the insurance company is getting 30 million new people

Public opinion or public interest has not been taken into account! Just greedy corrupt politicians making decisions to raise taxes, insurance premiums and national debt!
