I think this will help more people have a better views and help with themselves because everyone doesn’t have enough money to pay for doctor bills and other thiings that it takes care of. Everyone needs insurance and needs help.
This Bill sucks. War sucks. You Suck. I believed that you would do something great when I voted for you but instead now you’re going to MANDATE people to buy whatever crap the insurance industries want to sell us. You don’t care either. As long as you pass “Health Care Reform” and put a check in the win column for yourself. Then you’ll try to pass it off as “historic” when it will be nothing but tragic. Thanks for nothing! I will not be voting for you in 2012 and will tell others not to as well
If we introduce less government regulations the health companies will simply raise costs even more and commit more acts of inhumane behaviour. Your crazy to think less regulation would work when we already tried that.
Don’t they get it WE DON’T WANT THIS BILL. It is NOT reform it is an expansion of our failed system and will end up costing all of us more as well as our economy.
It is very simple. The only way to spend less on healthcare is to consume less. When someone else is paying, consumers consume more. Our 3rd party pay system puts your healthcare dollars into someone else s hands and you don’t care how much you spend. Every nation is dealing with rising cost by rationing care or introducing free market incentives. We may have a private market but we don’t have a free market because Government controls all the shots.

It is a right and by the way I never knew your fire department wasn’t a RIGHT. The only way to provide universal health care is to redistribute the wealth. What we hear in Washington is how we got to this point with our health care system but it’s never discussed why. What lead to all of these increases in price?
Medical savings accounts should be discussed as well.
About 30 years ago the price of a regular check up was ~ $20 and now that’s the copay. Insurance is for serious emergencies and isn’t needed for a standard check up…Wasted tax $ should go to deficit no HC.
If you think health care is a right I suggest you look up the definition of rights; I also doubt that ranking is accurate. Furthermore, if you think it’s a right then why doesn’t the government provide free food for all. As important as health care is, food and water is vital to everyday existence.
Bigger gov’t leads to higher prices and poorer quality of service and quite frankly they shouldn’t be in all aspects of our life which is slowly happening. This goes for both local and fed gov’t.

Health care is a RIGHT not some product you buy at a local corner store. When prices rise it’s because of how much they stand to make off the product by raising the prices. The employees are simply just a piece of dirt to them.If you believe that somebody’s life WHO WORKS HARD AND HAS A FAMILY has less value than some greedy person who makes money off denying and has already been DRIVING HEALTH CARE PRICES UP your the one off you meds here. We rank 36th in the world in care.

If you take a look at the history of prices you will see that over time prices of goods go down with quality rising simultaneously and to see that you can walk into your local Best Buy. In defense of Christoppher1994 he hasn’t really said anything off base. What he’s saying is simply true, government getting involved drives costs up. Also as far as a truly free market, this country hasn’t had that in some time. If you look at it a lot of jobs are being outsourced because we don’t have a free market…consider this, a lot of corporations are taxed so heavily that it’s easier for them to bring these jobs overseas and pay for all that overhead involved than to keep them here…

Nah I wasn’t pissed at you and I have a right to be pissed at that dumbass. He talks of socialism when nothing is communist about using wasted tax dollars that are ALL OF OURS to help care for all of our nation. More and more people are losing care every year and yet everyone argues and never take action then watch the backbone of this country hard working families die because they can not afford to survive in this greedy corporation filled country of ours.

How about this, we stop increasing our taxes and use it on useful things like roads, than we deregulate the insurance market making more competitive, which will drive down the cost of insurance rapidly and you would have more insurance choices. That’s how the free market works, the consumer always wins
